Re: CoD:MW2 Online League (PlayStation 3)

:hscratch:

I think we'll just go with "RDR / CoD:MW2 PS3 Leagues" thank you very much.

Re: CoD:MW2 Online League (PlayStation 3)

Can you update the first post with the new RDR PS3 posse info?

Will do Chew. :)

I don't see why not. If we are, here is mine:

1. Handguns and throwing knives only. Free For All, Headshot only on Highrise. No Killstreaks. When Digi comes online.

2. Riot shields and knives only. Headquarters on Crash. No Killstreaks.

3. Anything that Explodes. Domination on Bailout.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:
Date: Every Thursday
Start Time: 10 PM EST / 9 PM Central

To Join: Add me (JohnSlider) to your buddy list. Sign in Wednesday nights around the start time and check your buddy list, join the server. Note that we do play with the DLC packs, so if you do not have them let us know ahead of time so we can plan a non-DLC night.

Red Dead Redemption:

.

not to be nitpicky but you might want to rearrange this so the game and info are together with the way to sign up and not bassackwards.

Thanks, L&O.

Cruz, do you mean this:

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Good catch, Sauce. Changed it.

Edit, I think that's what Cruz was saying, too , and I just misunderstood.

cruzness06-03-10 12:35 PM

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

I'll be really specific on one match and really general on another

1. Intervention sniper rifle only with smoke allowed no thermals, Headshots only, FFA/TDM, 5 second delay on respawn, 3,4,5 killstreaks only, Salvage

2. Akimbo weapons only, Demolition, Killstreaks on, Subbase, when digi comes online

3. Shotguns and throwing knives only, FFA Rust

JohnSlider06-03-10 12:37 PM

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

I've never played with the intervention sniper rifle. Should be fun. Who is going to host tonight?

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

How did everybody feel about the way RDR panned out last night? Is that the route we want to go from now on? Start at one gang hideout and work our way through the rest, and then top the night off with some other casual games against each other?

Chew06-03-10 01:17 PM

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

I liked the way it played out, it was a good variety of stuff. I'm just glad I leveled up quickly enough to get a faster horse, I couldn't keep up in the beginning. ;)

We'll have even more options when the DLC comes out this month. Anyone know the cost? I thought I may of read it's free?

JohnSlider06-03-10 01:22 PM

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

You read right, completely free. We might have a problem with it only allowing 2-4 players, we'll either have to save them for a slow day or play them on our own outside of the weekly games. It also says this free pack is "one of three" so maybe the other two will allow for more players.

Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., is proud to announce the 'Outlaws To The End' Co-Op multiplayer Mission Pack for Red Dead Redemption. Available FREE this June simultaneously for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, this brand new co-op mode adds an entirely new dimension to Red Dead Redemption's game play.

"Multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption offers players a whole new way to encounter the massive open world we've created, but we felt the experience would not be complete without co-op game play," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "With these missions, we wanted to create new ways for players to share in the experience of engaging with this amazing landscape."

One of three downloadable content packs, the 'Outlaws To The End' Co-Op Mission Pack features six all-new multiplayer missions full of outlaws, epic gunfights, and revolution for 2-4 players. The 'Outlaws to the End' Co-Op Mission Pack offers additional multiplayer XP rewards and brand new Achievements and Trophies to unlock.

These six explosive and epic missions will play out across the game world, including:

* "Walton's Gold" Walton's Gang have taken control of a mining camp rich with gold. Fight through the camp and load your mine cart with as much gold as you can carry and get out as fast as you can - Walton's boys have rigged the place to blow.
* "The River" Ride a raft down river, taking out rebel encampments along the way until you reach the rebel stronghold of Nosalida and a final epic battle for the town's massive weapons caches. Watch out for Gatling gun-equipped enemy rafts.
* "Ammunition" The Mexican Army has the town of Tesoro Azul under siege. Storm the gates under heavy cannon, Gatling gun and sniper fire to destroy the Mexican artillery placements.

Chew06-03-10 01:25 PM

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Hmmm, only "2-4 players"? Posse max is 8, but the DLC is 4?

JohnSlider06-03-10 01:30 PM

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Seems so, but it also says that this DLC is one pack out of three. The other two might cost us some cash, but maybe it will allow for more players.

I should be able to host. I may be going to an early concert (depending on the weather), but should be back in time.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Yesterday during RDR somebody said they wished they had dynamite. If you see me using it, shoot me and then you should be able to pick it up off the ground next to my body. That way you'll have it until you turn the PS3 off or leave the room. It's a lot of fun to play with, especially if you're following R2 around and decide to cook it until it blows up in your hands. :)

I pretty sure that is where the saying, "f*ck you and the horse you road in on" came from.
