It's the end of 2025, WBD said so them themselves publicly in not so polite terms
For WBD, the reaction today was to cast aspersions on the very premise of the Sky suit itself.
“The HBO and Max licensing agreements expire at the end of 2025, and this lawsuit is a baseless attempt by Sky and Comcast to try and gain leverage in its negotiations for our programming beyond that date,” a WBD spokesperson said in response Friday.
can tell by a lot of expiry dates for HBO content , In some cases separately acquired content has those dates aswell...
I think some of other content including movies might be on both after that date at least until it exipres.
Adult Swim deal with Channel 4 appears to end next October aswell going by the the exipry dates for all of it.

It's the same 31st December 2025 date across UK , Germany and Italy
They said a UK launch in 'Early 2026' a few months ago.

I expect in Germany, Italy, UK and Ireland any new deal in 2026 for the Max launch with HBO content will be non exclusive bundles in Sky, Amazon, VM, EE etc, as Discovery+ is now.
Sky/ Comcast would like it to be another HBO content, including
Harry Potter, exclusive Sky/ Now bundle, but will they pay extra for going exclusive, so far with the Sky legal action talks must have soured?. -

Possible Comcast and WBD might make an out of court settlement to have Harry Potter as a joint production and keep HBO content exclusive to Sky/Now in parts of Europe.
Odds are ?Last night Sky were showing the making of Wicked and how the new Elstree studios can now match Leavesden expertise.

It's just the countries Sky operates where the Max standalone service has not launched.
Switzerland is the exception where Sky no longer has an exclusive deal as RTL+ now has HBO content.

I doubt it's exclusive, It's already available as Prime Video channel in US , Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, France and Spain, most recently it was added to Prime Video channels in Sweden and The Netherlands so seems like a possibility in UK , Germany and Italy.

Or Paramount+, which has a partnership deal with both Sky and Amazon.
I doubt WBD will agree to any truly exclusive partnership deal for Max unless a very, very large sum of money is offered.

To be honest I hope it doesn't happen even though it will. Another streaming service is of course even more money. Not fair in this cost of living to be honest. Sooner or later one of the streaming services will fail

Will the ads verson of Max be ads free if you get the ads free booster with Sky TV/Now TV
Not very clear on the ads free Max app for non Sky TV customers.
Early 2026, all be revealed.
Ads Free Discovery plus entertainment with Eurosport is 7.99 euros per month in Ireland
I have the ads version of Discovery plus entertainment without Eurosport for 50 euros per year as I got it for my mother -

I have no idea what this means. Will sky still show the shows on now TV-sky Atlantic or will be another never ending streaming service
